i just got a honk_807 it says it fits my car but i have no idea how the heck to start it off

its from american international part #honk807 and it says it fits my car

 

first off you gotta cut the **** outta the center. those two pieces in the middle are for the old school tape decks. looks like it should snap in but im not sure without looking at the dash

it snaps in but how does the headunit secure does it screw on somewhere?

 

if you bought a new deck it should come with a metal sleve on the deck. take that off and you put it in b4 the deck and bend the metal tabs to hold it in. if you dont have a metal sleve your pretty much outta luck with that kit. sometimes best buy or circut city will sell you a cage(metal sleve for the radio) for 10 - 15 dollas.

 

i have the cage where does the tabs hold against?

so i completey snap off those 2 pieces right?

 

snap the two pieces in the CENTER only. there should be tabs on the metal sleeve which you can bend with a hook tool, or a screwdriver to hold the deck in after it's snapped into the sleeve. the kit will be held in by the tabs..becareful not to break the tabs when try to snap the kit in. usually i put the kit in the bottom first, then snap the top in by bending the middle a bit to have more slack. good luck!!
