Default Midbass/Components

For a system without a sub, what could be done to get some more bass? Assuming that components dont really have that much bass, would it be better to match up a midbass speaker like the Kicker RMB6 with a pair of tweeters?

How would the RMB6 and a pair of tweeters compare to a full component set like the JL XR650?

I have never heard the JL's but many say they have lots of midbass already. The koda set from adire may be what you are looking for also.

I personally would not try to match up the kicker rmb6 with a tweet. Get a component set designed to work together.
