key on mp3 cd deck speaker/sub shut off??

i was in the parking lot playing my stereo system and somehow it shut off after a minute or so of playing my songs key on. stereo, Deck, SUB, shut off. kenwood deck whats the reason for it did that by itself??

i turn off took off face plate and back it worked why did it do that what do i have to look for??

Maybe you're overheating the internal amp.

edit: There could be a loose ground somewhere, or any kind of bad connection. That's what i would look for, a sketchy connection
