When you say matched up every wire color, do you mean from the deck harness to the wiring harness adapter you bought? Or is the harness in the car cut?

the cd player has a adapter that can plug into the stock plug, the previous owner of the car had cut the stock harness and does not have the male plug off the stock harness, so i took the male from my other crx and put it in the HF that im puting the radio into. thats why im confused. cuz i matched up every color to the male plug from the oem harness and that plug goes right into the female for the cd player.

Does it turn on and off with the key? It sounds like it's not getting switched power (red wire on the deck). Check your fuses and see what's up...

If it always shows 1:00 on the clock when you hit display you do not have constant power, yellow on HU, white/blue or white/yellow in oem radio harness, normally fused in under hood fuse box, probably a 7.5A fuse.
