I have had my JVC KD-S680 cd player in my '88 crx for a bit now but the memory doesn't work (clock resests, equalizer setting reset) so when I was pulling the cd player out to see what was causing this, the cd player turned off and won't turn back on. I re-wired every wire and it still won't come on....any suggestions??

 

Fuse? Coulda shorted out and blew when you pulled it out. Try hooking the 2 pwr wires and grnd straight to battery see if its your harness maybe?

 

If you were losing memory items then you had it hooked up wrong. A deck needs BOTH a constant a switched soure of power.
