depending on the crack it can affect performance.. if it's small i'd recommend putting some silicon on it to seal it up before u decide to hook it up. if u hook it up to a powerful amp chances are that the crack can increase and will eventually port itself a sound like crap.

I don't see how a hard, rock-like material will seal up a crack...

Silicon:

However, a silicone sealant should do the job nicely...

B18C_EJ8 quit being a smart ***. if u knew the answer why didn't u post it the first time instead of your other response. looks like you just want to get ur post count raised. some people on h-tech have no life and stay online all day just posting rediculous crap.

Rrrriiiiggghhhhttt...

Just like this gem of information:

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by perseverance &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">chances are that the crack can increase and will eventually port itself a sound like crap. </TD></TR></TABLE>

I did know the answer, and I did post it. My first post in this retarded thread was asking for more information that the OP failed to provide, despite being directly asked for it. Then, I stated that a silicone sealant would fix the problem. Maybe you missed it.

lol.. 45 years old and arguing on honda tech. people who make stupid posts will get stupid responses or stupid comments. when they ask for legitimate help, they will get it. i'm not a fan of spoon feeding people who dont make the effort to at least give you all the information you may need. and chances are...if i came into your shop as an installer....actually expletive that...i dont want to be an installer my whole life.
