JL Stealth Box
I just picked up a JL Stealth box for my DC2 Integra. It fits (3) 10" but im not sure which JL subs will clear it since the inside depth is about 5.5"-6.0".

Stealthbox's come pre-loaded, what happened to the subs?
Can you take a pix of the box and post it?

i had a buddy/co-worker who tried to fit w3s in his integra vantage box years ago. it didn't fit. keep in mind the bottom of the box is molded to the floor of the spare tire well which is not quite flat and is irregular.
you could make it fit by using a spacer ring.

Do you know what the volume is? If not, you will need to know what the gross internal volume is before you pick a sub.

So you have 0.58 cuft gross per driver....

As you can see the new, JL Audio 10" drivers need .65 cuft net., same for most of the discontinued JL subs, I would recheck the internal volume of the box.

i will be using a 1/2" spacer ring to lift the sub a bit for the 10W3V2. since i just called JL and they said it's just a bit touching. i'm still newbie to systems so not stuff if this is right. since my spacer ring will be 10" and 1/2" thick (using 3 spacer rings). it should be enough air space if i use a 1/2" spacer ring if my formula is correct.
10" x 1/2" x 3.14 x 3 = 47.1"
47.1/144 = .33'
JL stealth box is 1.75' + .33' = 2.08'
2.08'/3=.69
so it will be .69 cubic feet. this would just be enough right? im not sure if my formula is correct or now. let me know if this works. is there any pro or con on using spacer rings?

It sound really nice with the right size sub in it. I tried it with w/0 and happy. But I decide to go gusto and I out grew it. I would use it again If I did not want to bulk up te car.
yeah i had it before with some alpine type s i stuffed in them, i remember it sounding pretty good, but that was a couple years ago when i first started out. im thinking about spacing it out with rings and stuffing the enclosure
