So I have a JVC aftermarket head unit *cd player* that I want to put into my 98 Civic DX.

1.) Could someone give me step by step procedures to do this so I don't have to pay someone again to do it?
2.) I have a wire harness from my old car so if that helps in the replies to this
3.) I read in the manual that putting in an aftermarket head unit can cause the interior dome light to not work or climate controls or something ?? Or it was the keyless entry thing built into the stock unit. I don't have keyless entry... So I guess that isn't a problem huh? Roll up windows for me
4.) I have 4 aftermarket speakers I want to put in sometime too, can I put my cd player in first and wait to put the speakers in.. Or does the head unit get wired to the new speakers, meaning I should do speakers first and then wire to headunit?

Sorry I am a newb to car components... I would appreciate all the info and holding the flames

check out http://www.installdr.com/ or http://www.the12volt.com/ It's pretty easy, the hardest part for me was getting my old radio out. The stereo shop wanted $130 to install my 98 accord radio into my integra, so i was really glad I did it myself.
