Default Install trunk pin switch for 2002 Civic???

I just installed the alarm system for my 02 Civic EX 2DR. All went well except I don't know how to install the pin switch for the trunk. (The trunk has to be released using the button inside the car; it's not factory remote controlled)

Can I tap the signal from the trunk light to the alarm system so that it will trigger when the trunk is forced open? This is where my amp, sub and other stuff are. Kinda important for me .

My alarm is Crime guard 350i5. It has the AUX. output where the trunk release can be connected to according to the diagram.

I'd appreciate any help from the experts.

Yes you can, should be a red lead silver dots in green 16pin plug above drivers kick panel.

the green plug is the stock alarm plug and if no alarm in car the green plug will be taped to a wire harness, normally with blue tape. 94
