how much airspace does a 6.5" require?

Default how much airspace does a 6.5" require?

I'm building a sealed enclosure for my 6.5" Crystals.

I realize most people don't do this and this is why I can't find any info, but what do you think would be a good sealed volume?

I was thinking ~.5 cubic feet.

Sound good?

That sounds fine since a lot of 10" and 12" woofers can do with that little of space.

Yeah I'm hoping so.. I know a lot of nice 12" sealed use a 1.0 cft enclosure, so half of that sounds good If it's too small I can always stuff it

That is more than enough. Some 8 inch subs can deal with .33 cubes.
