Is this just snap off? or are their screws somewhere that i need to take off first? this not my picture, just some picture i found while doing a search, just so you guys know what i'm talking about. I have a 2000 si.

 

Here let me give you step by step instructions:
1-remove paneling below the steering wheel. (3-philips)
2-remove glove box. ( 2-8mm) Or you can squeeze it until it falls below the bump stops.
3-remove center piece w/12v outlet (5-philips and 1-8mm)
4-locate and remove 4 8mm screws under the climate control cluster (ccc)
5-pull ccc out and remove all harnesses. At this point you will be able to totally remove this piece.

Well actually i'm not the one trying to remove it. It's my cousin, he's going to install my headunit and he was trying to remove it. But he has never worked on a 2000 civic si, so i thought i would come here and maybe ask for some kind of guide or step by step on how to change headunit? thanks
