How do i disconnect my car battery ( 3rd gen integra )?

lol...no pics but you'll need a 10 mm socket. theres a nut on each terminal, loosen the nut and pull up.

oh i see. see i my alarm is messed up. and im trying to open my car door but the alarm will go off. i want to disconnect the battery to prevent the alarm from going off

the door nor the hood is not open. after i open it, i will pop the hood.

Blah, the important part....

Take off the possitive wire or negative wire first.. I forget, I got shocked, so .... im fuzzy..

BUT I do remember using rubber coated is good.

my wrench touched the body for a second... instant BBQ... hurt a bit... I only used a full metal one because I had nothing else at the time.

eh, little bit of both, but it doesnt matter, it hurt.. a lot.... and scared Ed because of the enormous flash, he was standing a few feet away.

anymore? if the alarm doesnt shut, can i just hurry up and pop the hood, and cut the battery? or can i cut the siren?

Unless you have a backup battery then disconnecting the terminals should do the trick.

what about lines that are connected to the siren? would that be easier?

doh, why do you simply want to know how to shut down a car alarm quickly,. more precisely., the alarm part? is it rreallllly your car? or are you looking for quick ways to shut down stolen car alarms?

no its not a stolen car. its my car. its going to be a project car, so i wont need batterys, alarms, etc as of right now
