help with punch 800.2!!!!!!!!

Default help with punch 800.2!!!!!!!!

i just got my 2001 punch 800.2 and i hooked it up to 2 10" jl audio w4. i did NOT bridge it and the gain is turned on alittle over half way and when the bass hits hard, the subs kind of shut down on and off. kinda sounds like its choking. can someone please help me out with this? Please any help is helpful. and also what is the ohm for the w4s. thanks.

it all depends on the way you wire the speakers.

The reason why it might be sounding half arsh is beacause your wiring the speakers to such a low ohm; causing the amp to shut down to safety mode

try to wire the diagram in row2 column 2 (2 dual 4ohm wired to a 4ohm load)

hook the subs in series for an eight ohm load and see if the problem persists. Is your ground really good? Can the amp breath properly (nothing on top of it, etc...)? Check to see that you didn't hook one sub up backwords.
