fm reception
i have a honda crv 2012 mk3, always had a bad fm signal, i have recently fitted an after market head unit, pioneer double din unit but signal still rubbish.
any ideas? |

Check wiring ... antenna disconnected or so.

Look into buying an aftermarket power antenna.
Metra makes one that you can mount on the windshield. |

Metra makes one that you can mount on the windshield. Most of the time the antenna is routed from the head unit through the driver's A-Pillar. Attach a thick wire to the end of the antenna before you pull it through, and check if everything looks good on the antenna, and/or replace it or upgrade. Attaching that wire is critical when you start pulling it though though, or you will have one BITCH of a time fishing the wire back down the A-Pillar into the interior. |
