What's the model no. of your Alpine. Let me know and I can find out the exact cost or at least give you an idea of what you'll spend. Depending on the model, it might be worth it to just get a whole new unit.

OK, first don't take what I'm about to say wrong, but did you really "buy" it like that, or could it have possibly been borrowed from someone without their knowledge?

Just seems a little fishy to me that you would buy a car off someone and not make sure they had the faceplate on it when you drove away...

I hope I'm wrong, because my **** was broken into and stolen 3 days ago and I'm a little pissed about it still.

Anyway, if this is legit then you might have a bit of a problem:

1) Can you go back and ask the woman for the faceplate?

2) If you can't, most faceplates will cost about the same amount as buying the entire deck. This is to make it not worth it for a theif to steal a deck without the faceplate.

I didnt steal the ******* radio if thats what your implying, I bought the car at an auction, I got iton tuesday, I didnt see or talk to the person that sold me the car, and it wasnt the original owner either, it was a dealer, so, they couldnt care less if I got the face plate or not

cool, like I said I wasn't accusing.. or something like that.

Anyway, like I said before also, the faceplate will probably a little less than the cost of a new deck. Which model HU is it? do you know?
