I have been an EK owner for about a month now. So far I have installed a Pioneer HU, Fosgate mids and highs powered by a 4 chan Evolution amp, a DC Audio PAI-2000.1 and a pair of Fi Audio Q15's. The enclosure is sealed 4.9cuft before displacement.

More mods on the way are, rims (this week), I added some burberry plaid accents on the door inserts and will be installing a center console with the armrest, as well. I also installed leather seat I picked up on craigslist for $150

I still need the back seat for my kids. I plan on upgrading to a pair of BL15's in a few months and then ditching the back seat for a ~9cuft ported enclosure tuned to 32-33hz. That should do some damage.

 

Port the q's before u get the bl's

they'll surprise you

or you can get a xcon or btl

 

I am def building the box first since the Q's and the BL's can run with similar ported specs. I know the Q's can get nasty. I hit 143db on the TL in a sealed box in my G35 sedan on only 1500rms.

nice setup. should have gone with ported, but since ur gonna remove the rear seats. why not just wall it :D what kind of electrical you running? hopefully ur not still running the stock alt with that set up in for more vids

 

Yeah man, I still need a new alt. Specially because I just picked up an Evolution sx124.4 for my mids and highs. As for the box, I don't want to do a wall because it seems too permanent. I would rather be able to throw the seats back in or downgrade when I want to. I got the new XXR 522's going on this week, so my budget is going to be tight for a bit.

 

try out an extra batt first before u make an alt purchase

i'm running 2 batts on the stock 120amp alt in my tl and i get no dimming on 3500+ watts
