EG civic Speaker Depth

What is the depth limit for the EG hatchback front speakers?

I have speakers that are over 2.6" deep, using dual 1/2" spacers. windows clear and grilles go on.. I dont think I'd wanna try anything deeper though.. maybe 2.8" at the most, but i'd say that's pushing it.

Yea im running Focal 165W woofers in the front doors with a 3/4" wood spacer... Window goes up and down and the grill goes on, but its damn close.

lol you also gotta make a custom bracket to get the bigger speakers to fit though correct???
