I am looking to get a double-din dvd player. I have narrowed it down to the Eclipse AVN2454 (w/ navigation) and the AVX2494 ( w/20 GB HDD). I was wondering if it is able to change color/graphics on the display to match my amber interior. Do any double-din dvd players do this. TIA.

wow. i plan on getting one of those units as well. but i cant decide. the 2494 has over 1 million pixels and time alignment. the 2454 just nav. errr! let me know which one u decide to go with.

to answer ur question, the the buttons for the 2454 can be changed from red or green. im unsure of the 2494. possibly the same thing. as far as the display, no, but u can take a picture with ur digital camera and load it into the 2494 as the screen saver.

Can you give me some more insight on these two? The website doesn't give you a lot of details. What is the time alignment? Can you load pictures on both of them? Also, can the optional camera be used on either one? With the 2494, can you record from the camera --ie small road trip or something? PM with with some price quotes along with shipping to NorCal, so I can get some comparisons. Thnx.

 

C'mon, someone has to have some insight on this. You can't tell me removing a battery threads are better than this one.
