Does anyone make a dvd-a car audio player w/o a screen? I know pioneer makes one w/ a screen, but I'd really prefer not to have a in dash display seeing as my last one brought quite a bit of unwanted attention to my car.

 

a dvd player for cars? a lot of companies do, boss, miron/davis just to name a couple

 

alpine makes a couple.. the dva7996 (i think) its a dvd players, cd mp3 player and am/fm radio...

there also is the DVA-5205 indash dvd player/cd player..

btw i have a alpine dva5205 for sale..

 

Not a dvd player, a dvd-audio player. Not all dvd players can read dvd-a disks. I am a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to audio and I like my music as clean and as well seperated as possible.

 

buy a 2004 accord, it comes as an option.

Panasonic has (or had) a unit that could read DVD-A.
Your getting a lil ahead of yourself....maybe some compainies
will preview @ CES some SACD and DVD-A units.

PS....For those who are going huh? super audio compact disc (SACD)
and DVD- audio are emerging technologies in they way music is recorded
and played back....better dynamic range,detail and the ability of 5.1 playback.
Imagine say listening to a Hendrix tune a experiencing an audio acid trip

 

Thanks man!!!! I found it, its the CQ-DVR909U. Every review I have read so far on it is 5 of 5! Only draw back is it does not read cd-r disks, but the damn thing is only 500$, at that price I can easily purchase a rear cd-changer or mabey a mp3 hd .
