dent in subwoofer?

Default dent in subwoofer?

I have a friend who wants to sell a sub cheap subwoofer, but it has a dent in it. How bad does a dent affect the sound?

If it is superficial(no hole) then you will be fine.

yeah there are no holes. THe dust cap? Im not sure. its the lil circle in the center where is says JL.

That's the dust cap. If it isn't punctured, you're good to go.

hell yea it does, i actually bought 2 10 w3's for 150 bucks in a box because one of the dustcaps was missing and the dude thought they were ruined i sold them for 350 without the box

yeah i used a mini suction cup and pulled it out. Now theres just a barely noticable ding. THanks guys for the response.
