hey i just bought a 09 compustar alarm for 100bucks which is like 400 retail outside but does anyone know where i can get wiring diagram for it with detailed pictures =o

its actually a good brand alot of places sells them..check the12volt.com for a diagram for your car

anyways im going thru my old alarm wiring right now and im wondering this little module hookd up to the ignition is that the immbolizier bypass? and the name of it is MAXXSONICS i searched online doesnt say anything about immobilizer bypass though 0.o




the little module on the right side?

i see a fuse, an alarm brain, and a relay...the relay is the one on the right side

what compustar did you get for $100?

i dont see a module either..if the alarm you have now got remote start then you would have the module somewhere

so wait that isnt a immobilizer bypass/transponder?? i thought all alarms for newers cars need an immobilizer bypass no?

thats a relay since im guessing your car alarm doesnt have built in relays for maybe door locks or what not or it might be for starter disable

No, your immobilzer is that 7 pin connector under the column cover near the cylinder.
If your alarm has a remote start feature, you will need to bypass the factory immobilzer by using one of the bypasses as stated above. If no remote start then you don't need it.
