I was wondering is it possible to put immobilizer in my ignition and in my key. and how much it would cost? and ideas? I have a clifford 10.5x on it already, but i want some extra security on it.

this is a good question and has probably been brought up before. i kno the 2000 integras have a transponder. i believe the code is in the key and in the ecu. if u used the ecu.... and used the key. would it work? like if u swapped it to a non transponder vehicle? i would think you'd need the ring around the key cylinder as well. maybe it's possible. anyone try it yet?

 

Transponder is pretty useless. Damn thieves carry around ecu's with them with the obd2 to odb1 jumper harness. Like the other recommend just add layers to what you currently have.
