ok yesterday when redoing my system my cd player took a **** on me. I guess somehow the power and ground to the cd player touched and shorted out something? when I installed my stock player back in it doesn't work also.

I checked the fuse underneath the steering wheel and it's still good. what else do i need to check for?

 

also checked backup fuse under the hood

Are you getting CODE displayed across the LCD?

 

no aftermarket headunit. I re did it and ran power from the cigarette lighter
