backup siren install?'s
How do I install my backup siren w/ internal batt.? Red(+) black (-) but what do i do with the other 2 wires, white (+) trigger and blue (-) trigger? Do I splice them into my current siren wire. my current siren wires are 2 gray wires stuck together. Thanks.

Thanks.</TD></TR></TABLE> If you want the backup siren to also go off with the alarm, then yes, you need to know if its a ground or positive that drives the siren, or if the alarm has an alarming out, [ a trigger + or - only when the alarm is tripped NOT when arming or disarming]

i actually have the same back up siren. and im also wondering how to install it with out tapping into my current alarm system? is this possible? i dont mine buying additional switches. dont mean to hi jack the thread just topic related

</TD></TR></TABLE>You do not have to wire the backup siren to the alarm system, just wire up the power and ground, if cars batt. is disconnected, the backup siren will trip, that is why they call it a backup siren.

true, but once you reconnect to the battery the back up siren will go back to off mode. is there any way into making the siren sound and quirp until you hit a hidden switch or insert the key located on the back of the siren? that way once they disconnect the battery the back up siren will sound and chirp even if they reconnect the battery back on.

Most alarms go off when power is reconnected.
