audio makeover ?
currently i hate my setup.
1)
currently my tweeters were relocated by my installer over by the kick panels. so they sound like ****. i want to mount them over by the visor area. i just want them at my head level.
is there any hints or comments about doing this? do i just drill a hole where i want them to be? also, i noticed that my tweeters are mounted in my door. since i want to mount them by the visor, would it be tricky to get it out of the door? wiring?
the reason why they couldn't be installed in the stock location was because my polk audio tweeters are larger than stock.
2)
i have a 15" jl audio w0 sub in my trunk right now hooke dup to a jl audio 250/1 amp.
i want to get 2 10", but how would i connect them so that both subs are powered by 1 amp? do i just put a y-connector type thing?
btw, this is on a 00 civic si.
these are the components that i have up front.
it says i have 1" tweeters
sorry for the length. thx for your help

In theory, imaging and staging are best when your drivers are mounted where they are (in the kicks). You'll probably want to move the crossover, if it's located in the door. You can leave it in the door if you choose to, but running wires back through the grommet is a bitch. After the tweeter is out, and the crossover situation worked out, I would play with the positioning of the tweeter. You can use double sided tape to stick them where ever you want, in an effort to find out where they sound the best. Once this is done then you can permanently mount them there.

Reflection sucks and does not always widen the soundfield.

^^^ Definitely don't point tweeters at glass.
To answer question two, just wire the 10's in parallel (positives together and negatives together) into the amp. That amp will automatically adjust output to the load.

As long as the load is not less than 1.33 ohms.
