Default Antenna is always up

I just put a new CD player into my Integra yesterday and now the radio antenna is always up when the CD player is on. It is up even when the radio is off. What could be causing this? Do I have the wires hooked up incorrectly? Thanks!

I just took it to an audio store and they said that the CD player does not have the right wires to have separate power to the CD player and to the antenna. Does anybody know if there is a way to fix this or do I just need to disconnect the antenna?

Many aftermarket radios, especially the cheaper ones, share the same blue wire for remote turn on and antenna power.

What's so bad about having the antenna up when you're listening to CD?

Maybe the antenna is not connected to the CD player...maybe. Or something else. Most likely, its not connected.
