amp installation kit Question
My setup will be the following..
First im getting a JL 500x1 for 2 JL 10w3's... And an Alpine 7894 headunit. Id like to install all that for starters. Then shortly after add a JL 75x4 and some JL components and coaxials for inside. Now my question is, for my setup which amp installation kit would you guys recommend. Ill be ordering my equipment from http://www.onlinecarstereo.com and they have amp kits for sale. I just have no clue as to which ones are of good quality and which would be the right fit for my setup. TIA.

Get a 4 gauge kit not a 8.
8 gauge will be good for about 500w rms (jl500.1 by its self)
to add another amp you will need to upgrade to 4 gauge.

If you can afford it go with an 00 gauge to the distro block, say a four out block, then if you upgrade speakers and amp you would never need to change from the distro to the battery again. Go with the best that you can afford at the time to save expenses later. I would run 4 from the distro to the amps with a seperate fuse on each one coming out of the distro block. Just my .02
