Ok so i have an alpine deck for half a year now, its a great deck but recently my cd got stuck ..i dont know why i never messed with it. And after looking online it seems a lot of people had the same problem, but i find no solutions. So i was wondering if anyone here has had this problem and has a solution that doesnt cost any money. I know one of you out there had this problem before and know how to fix please HELP!!! i love this deck and i spent enough money to buy it already.

welcome to the world of alpine? lol. happened to me on 2 alpine decks already.

not anymore though.

 

i have a alpine cda9815 for about 5-6 years now and still works great(knock on wood). Have you try to reset it usually that works well with other brands but not sure with the alpine.

 

thanks for your guys reply i havent tried the reset but i will try. i am still open for anymore suggestions because i just bought this deck and i dunt wanna buy a new one i already spent enough money!

 

Does it try to spit it out? Can you hear the eject mechanism trying to work?

If it's only 6 months old, call Alpine, get an RA and ship it in for warranty repair.

 

Most common cause of "stuck" discs in any car CD player is no rear support on HU.
Make sure your HU is properly supported, [so back of HU can't bounce around] then do a reset, reconnecting the batt. ground that you disconnected to pull and check the HUs mounting will "initialize" the CD transport, [place in ready for disc or ejected mode.
I do 2-3 "stuck disc" repairs a month, most are because of improper mounting of the HU. 94
