What exactly are you looking for in an alarm?

The 6,000 foot rage of the 2W-SS is a nice feature -- as many people rarely park, and walk more then a mile away from their car, it gives you almost 4500ft more range

For the extra $40 CDN, you might as well. Feature wise they are almost identical.

You might also want to invest in the Autolock or something of that nature as well.

Remember, your BEST defense -- is a GOOD offense. By setting up multiple "layers" of protection, you knock out many if not all theives that would attempt to steal your car.

Do a search in here for things like starter kills, fuel pump switches etc. Only costs a couple dollars and will be yet another layer of protection for your vehicle.

You should check out DEI's pager alarm instead.

http://www.directed.com

Much better company then Compustar and biggest. Company is also ISO certified also, so you know they make good stuff.
