What kind of car ? and what kind of sensors are added? Also check the led-if there is one and see what zone is getting the trigger. Also a weak car battery could give you this problem. This is one reason that you should have a dei 520t back up battery.

pretty sure its not the battery. i would bet its the hood pin isnt touching rite. seen it a million times. specially on civics if they are on the firewall there is little surface for contact. just gotta wait and see.

most likely if it was a bad hood pin or dooor pin if he armed the car it would tell him a trigger was open by a responce chirp back from the alarm. A voltage drop real quick will give him the problems that he is having now. I seen this over and over and over again. This leaves most installers stumped and wonder wtf is going on. A bad ground, or trigger like you said or a faulty brain can all be the caused. Do a run down. Unplug each sencer that you have one by one till you weed it out.

in most cases this is true for the hood pin but like i said i seen it a million times. now the shock sensor is a know problem. and if they connected the starter kill to constant 12v then thats whats killing the battery. has to be conected to ign 1
