acura navi hack??
ok guys heres the deal, im in the market for an 02-03 tl-S w/ navi...i know on other navi systems like the navi in the g35 you can hack the navi to play DVD's. i want to know how to do it for the acura navi...i know it can be done because in another thread a dude posted a pic of him watching a simpsons dvd on his navi screen...so i know it can be done, i just cannot find any information on the hack..other than the color change hack and the background pic hack, i cant find ****...help me out guys
nav tv makes an interface box for your car. ive installed them before, at the rear of the nav brain. they have back up cam. input, reverse input to switch to cam. and an aux in. i agree with b18c ej8 though, if using this for watching video while driving this is very unsafe. if you dont car about your life at least care about others and their children and family's.

Seriously? You haven't been in this forum much, have you...
A good percentage of people blatently watch while driving.
Some lie, and say they only watch when parked.
The others say "it's for my kids" or "the passenger will watch it".

Well it's not illegal.
It is however illegal if the person is driving. So not discussing something because some will use it illegally is kinda silly. We wouldn't even be able to discuss car audio here. A lot of people listen to music with thier 1500w systems at levels that would be illegal in most cities.

How many instances of accidents or killed innocent bystanders have you heard of that have directly resulted from loud stereos?
Probably none, or not nearly as many as caused by people watching movies/drifting/music videos/**** while driving.....
