Default 88 crx sub box help

Does anyone know the best dimensions for a box in the rear of a crx i dont want it to over take my rear but i dont want it to be to small and whats the best material to build a box out of... ported or unported is the next best question....i was thinking 2x10's thanks for any help i get ahead of time

Depends entirely on the sub you choose.

You don't build a box per the dimensions of the vehicle.

You build a box per the specifications of the sub...

ahh. okay thanks for that do you know the equation for figuring out that info? like lets say a 15inch fosgate?

There's no equation.

You build the box per the airspace (volume, in cu ft) requirements of the sub.

If the 15 inch sub requires 1.7 cu ft, you build a box with an internal volume of 1.7 feet.

find out the required airspace (in inches) for the sub and use this calculation for internal volume: (length x width x height) divided by 1728 = volume

example: (l) 14 x (w) 14 x (h) 10 = 1960/1728 = 1.13 cubic ft.
