okay so i just bought an oem cd player off a friend of mine and he has no idea where the card is that has the code to activate the cd player. and he doesn't have the car anymore anyways so how am i gonna find out ?? do i call honda

 

Not sure about Honda, but I had this problem on a 3000GT a few year back and Mitsubishi fixed it for me. They just typed in the serial number and then gave me the code. Honda may be different but it is worth a shot.

 

yea i see a sticker on the bottom and it has a serial number on it i'll give them a call tomorrow and see what happens. if that doesn't work then i'm screwed cause the person i bought it from doesn't have the code either

 

Honda may require a proof of ownership, before they give you the code, all the dealers, [Honda/Acura] here in BC do. 94

 

well how the hell am i gonna do that. i bought it from a friend and the friend already sold the car to somebody else

 

alright i forgot i have a friend thats a porter at acura which is next to honda and i'm gonna call him tomorrow while he's at work and he can get the code for me then so i dont have to pay

 

That's good, Honda/Acura, makes no diff. I get the codes for Honda and Acura at the Acura dealer where I got my teg, have done so a number of times when reinstalling oem HU into lease returns or cars being sold. 94
