I was trying to find your user id a few weeks back. I was wondering if the head was decked and if the valve seals were ever replaced.

The guy i bought it from said the head was decked but only enough to make it flat, nothing major. He didn't remember how much when I asked him.
Also he said all the seals were replaced as well.

6 am sunday morning and the new turbo kit is all done!!!!!
Jeremy at Jabaayfab did some amazing work. Custom built manifold, 3" downpipe, full 3" exhaust.
The car is going to be tuned by cornbredtuning.com later today. I will try and post up some pictures tomorrow when I get back on my own computer.

I wondered how long it would be before that started to be the weak link. Good stuff!

Here are the specs on the turbo kit:

3” exhaust with straight through Magnaflow muffler
2” hot side/2.5” cold side intercooler piping
Mishimoto intercooler
HKS BOV
Walbro 255 high flow fuel pump
DSM 450 injectors
AEM EMS engine management
AEM electronic boost control solenoid
AEM wideband O2
2.5 bar Motorola MAP sensor
Now for the pics:
The manifold custom made to fit with power steering and full size radiator. (PM me for Jabaay contact info if you would like one)

The 3” downpipe and 3” exhaust

The intercooler piping and intercooler

HKS BOV

Completed kit

We were having some troubles with the AEM EMS so the car is not on the road yet. The EMS is the OBD0 version so it plugs directly into the stock wagon ecu plugs, but the EMS seems to be unhappy with the OBD1 distributor. It is not sending any outputs (spark, fuel injector pulse) with the OBD1 distributor hooked up. We are going to have to figure out how to make the software work with the OBD1 dizzy or switch to a OBD0 distributor. We may have to convert to OBD1 and use Chrome just to get it running. More updates will be coming soon.
Many thanks to Jeremy Jabaay who built the whole kit. Also thanks to Chris, Roberto, Adam, brother-in-law Mike, Cornbred Andy and TallKyle for helping out this weekend.
