the 490kg rating is the wheels load bearing max weight rating, I'm sure there is a technical term for this just don't know it. GL refinishing the wheels, I', currently doing my own resto on some ol skool 3 piece Works!

 

sounds like a cool idea, but when is he gunna get hot water on his wheels? haha. do you think heat from the brakes is enough to change the color? that would be crazy.

sorry about any updates guys :/ its been ***** cold here in dayton ohio, and my garage isnt heated so i really dont feel like freezing my ********* off trying to polish my wheels. there will be updates when it warms up a bit!

 

ever decide on your colors? black nickel chrome barrels with white spokes would be dope! get those babies re-barreled up to 8 wide with around a 20 offset for a nice but not too aggressive fit on that Sol.

 

i think im pretty set on the white faces, and i think i might get a custom white with some crazy flake in it or something.

as for the barrels im still planning on polishing them, because getting them coated in anything is pretty darn expensive. i wanted to get them polished by someone but they want an arm and a leg for that, so i just need to find spare time when it gets warm out to polish them myself

 

my boy has glow in the dark paint on his rims on his 08 civic and it only lasted like 15 seconds and he had to recharge them with his huge crank light and then by the time he charged one and moved onto another the one he just charged died again haha ...its cool,but i dont think its worth it...also he paid a mint for the paint,oh and its rough as hell as well

well since i sold the del sol, im still gonna be finishing the wheels, but [ej]jonathan (my twin brother) is going to buy them off of me, and they will go on his hatch. we are gonna polish the barrels, but wait on the faces because we are not sure of what color yet

If youre gonna polish them yourself try some Dremel #520 polishing wheels. They work great and its not too much work lol.

anyway, they work real good, i had my wheels sandblasted and took one of these to the bare metal with no prep and it came out super shiny.
