Heres a shot of us at school fixing a main relay on a friends prelude. The main relay was acting up (car wouldnt start) when weather was hot out. The soder on the relay gets old and cracked so we resoder everything, put back together and never have a problem with it again...so far.

Thx, I used a 21 gallon I got from harbor freight for $150. It got the job done with pretty good results but, i wouldnt recommend using it for candy or metalic paints. Sence then i got a 60 gallon compressor now for FREE!!

SUCKS!!! Living in a place that calls it self "the sunshine state" i havent seen much of it lately. But, that didnt stop me from getting this engine in and try to start her up.

UPS with their perfect timing droped these off on Thursday right after i bolted the clutch and tranny to the engine. So i got excited and went ahead and droped in the engine before I headed to class.

I had to work on Friday so didnt get anything done. Saturday morning (still raining) I was able to plug everything back up, filled up oil, coolant and what knot. Than i got her started up and........ROARRRRRRR BABY ROOOOAAAARRRRRRRR like ... a .. kitten and found out i couldn't put her in gear. Ever had one of those love and hate moments for a car? This is one of it, excited it started up fine but, now i want to bash her in for not going in to gear.

So I thought i take a break from it right now before i tackle it again and find the problem. More updates soon im tried of typing.

I finally got it to go in gear but, it still jerks (stumble) real hard when getting off 1st gear or reverse. Once the car starts moving it shift smooth from then on. Im limping it to school today to pull the tranny back out.Im thinking its the flywheel for its the only part i reused. Its an ACT flywheel i had carquest resurfaced for me.

Its almost been a month still have got the problem fixed. But, i found out what it was.The clutch i bought (Competition Clutch stage 1.5) was defective. The clutch disc was hitting against the fingers of the pressure plate causing the hard jerking motion upon acceleration.I sent the clutch back and is still waiting for them to mail me a new one.

Me about to start pulling the tranny out for the 3rd time.

You can see where the disc hit the fingers.

But, in the mean time i did do a few things.

Yeah i havent gotten a chance to test mines yet. My fuel pressure with the stock pump is at 32 psi (w/ car running and vacuum on). Im not doing any major mods to the engine so im only using a 190 lph. It should bump my pressure up a bit if not, i still have the pressure regulator that i havent put on.

Yeah thx, I take night classes from 3 to 10pm so it works out well in the mornings for me. I'll post up some videos of the engine soon, just received an email that my clutch has already been shipped today. Everything should be up and running this weekend.
