Default Thunder Gray ITR replica

Hi everyone. I'm new to Honda-tech. Ive owned my 1994 Integra RS for a decade now and I'm probably never going to sell it. Ive always wanted an ITR but Ive been through so much with the Integra I have now that I could never sell it. I can't afford to own two Integras at this point in my life which left me stuck. So I found a way to have both. plus I thought seeing a thunder gray ITR would be sick. Since its an RS it makes the perfect platform for an ITR replica. (no sunroof, no ABS, and it had the third brake light in the rear window, and like the Type R has very little sound deadening material.) I have so much love for Honda/Acura and especially dc2's. I mean no disrespect by making a fake Type R. Thats why I spent a lot of time and money finding every single authentic OEM ITR part. (and I do mean EVERY part) I wouldn't do it if I couldn't do it proper. I used a mix of JDM UKDM and USDM parts to do it but the exterior is all USDM. I have every part except front and rear seats. I am having a devil of a time finding mint condition ITR seats. So if anyone has some for sale hit me up. It won't be complete until I find some. Ive raced this Integra over the years and had many wins. Most recently I won first place in the turbo 4 fwd at Battle of the Imports in Joliet, Illinois. 11.91 @ 123mph consistently on 20psi boost. The pics at the end is my crew TEAM EUROTIC which has also been established with the same 6 members for over a decade. Heres the pics. I hope I am welcome here in the ITR forum even tho technically this is no R.

Rare UKDM cluster: yellow needles and MPH!!! 170mph on the speedo!!!!

TWOkSiR and SwiftITR

THIS IS TEAM EUROTIC

The pre-ITR conversion...

Sweet reward after two days of consistent racing.

The car looks good, but the stickers kill it for me. I hate to say it- Wrong forum.

Clean car, but take off the stickers please. It still doesn't and will never have what a genuine ITR has.

You are missing the CF A/C vent. And the 98+ ITRs had a different steering wheel then you currently have.

All ITR's have ABS.

Yeah I know the steering wheel on the 00 Integra's have the "A" instead of Acura. I was mistaken when I typed no ABS. Actually I do have the cf a/c vent I just posted a pic that was taken before I had installed it. Here you guys like this pic better. I could go for the no stickler look anyways. it looks so clean.

Its nice I like it

Thunder Gray is a very rare color for an integra. Even though its not an actual ITR. Please keep her safe!

thank you. Believe me I'm just as paranoid as you guys about it getting stolen. So car alarms aren't worth **** these days or what??? Anyone know of any ITR front seats for sale. I might get the JDM recaros but Id rather have the USDM ones. they are soooo clean. rears are everywhere, I just want some that aren't faded at the top.

only ITR [pejorative]ggs complain about putting fake stickers on when TSX owners put Accord Euro R's on all the time. Who cares if you want it to be a a thundergray ITR than BAM you have one. Car looks great and is well put together

You have to try the classifieds/Honda Marketplace or check the ITR forums on the sticky threads.

Well I gotta be honest. Im a little apprehensive about purchasing anything from Honda-tech. Ive gotten burned 3 out of 3 times. I bought a obd1 wire harness andit was supposed to be complete. when I received it it was cut off at one side and missing sevral other clips. I couldn't use it. then I bought a ls crankshaft for an older motor I was running and it was listed as lightened, balanced, and knife-edged in great condition. Not only was it not knife edged or balanced, it had a spun journal. completely useless. Finally I bought some OEM fenders in perfect shape, they arrived all scratched up, bent, and they weren't OEM they were cheap ebay fenders that had been painted. Well, I put all that behind me and I'mgivin Honda-tech another chance, but I just got flamed pretty hard and had my post moved. Not that the last two were a big deal but my experience with Honda-tech has been pretty negative for the most part. I thought us Honda guys were supposed to all get a long and help each other out.

Yeah, that'll only happen when there is peace on Earth.

But thats the risk that everyone takes when they buy used parts. Try to ask for vouches, and detailed pics before sending them the money.

sweet car, props for having it for 10 years, but faking the funk with itr stickers kill it... you can pick up a real ITR shell for short money nowadays if you want to have ITR stickers on your integra instead of being a ricer. it would be less work to take off the sticker.

sorry.

(disclaimer: i don't own a R, never have, someday will)

I will own a real one someday. gotta graduate from college first. I would love to have two Integras, Id keep the ITR all stock tho and definitely all motor. I love having a turbo but I really miss the aggressive sound of an all-motor VTEC crossover.

You know what guys... I debated forever whether or not to put on the ITR stickers. you know what made my decision, I have a subscription to Honda Tuning and the cover for last months issue was a red DC2 which was definitely not an ITR and it had ITR stickers. He hadn't even removed the side moldings and he had a sunroof and several other things ect. My thoughts we that if Honda Tuning will put a Half-*** fake ITR DC2 with stickers on the cover of their magazine, then my more complete ITR fake deserves stickers.

The sticker issue is really simple: The majority of Accord and TSX owners have never driving a Euro R, a CTR, and probably not an ITR.

You can dress these different US spec models to look like their R counterparts, but they will never drive like one. That's the biggest point the other members were trying to make. Since the ITR is the only Type R to make it to the states (to date), these owners feel more strongly when people claim they have made a replica etc.

I haven't seen anyone bash you in your thread, so please try and keep an open mind. I posted my opinion, as others have in a non negative manner. Remember, by posting you are essentially asking for our thoughts and responses.
