You can use 94-01 Integra rear lower control arms. They all have the swaybar endlink holes. That's what I have on my hatch.

Yeah I thought about something like that. Pretty cost effective. I need something thats purple to go with a purple beaks bar preferably

I think I would go with a F7 arms+brace in stealth black Functional + subtle.

You're crazy! Those things sell for a lot more. Jesse picked one up for 150 recently and that was a steal.

The brace and the arms together look like a bridge haha, I think it looks weird. After seeing a few though and with the quality of F7, its tempting. Its grown on me now. I'm assuming they can make the brace in the same finish so if they can do that it will look and perform excellent.

The color itself, nothing. Its all the people running the aluminum tow hook+beaks+bwr brace+lca setup without a sway bar that make me cringe. So shot dude lol.

Nice to see it looking right on your car though haha

damn man I cant believe what garbage all those arms are. Function 7 might be the only decent choice out there.

I wouldnt use a wire wheel on the coilover threads. That will strip all the plating off the shock body and cause it to rust and corrode even faster. If anything soak them in wd40 and go around them with some fine scotch bright.

I picked it up for 75 and sold it for 80 lol Was one of my favorite pieces in the interior.
Beaks bars are a waste of money. The subframe braces are good if you are running a large sway bar.

Alright alright lol!

Been working on a few things Just cleaning up some interior parts, nothing worth posting.

Its been hella cold these last few weeks as you know so I'm just waiting for time to go by till it warms up. Been getting nicer and nicer I have to say though.

I did wash her like 3 weeks ago

I've been working on getting a job lately so thats taken up my time. I found a really good position that looks very promising. This job would be incredibly nice since its in the field that I'm going to school for and would be a great start. Plus I have a friend who worked there before so I got a nice reference. If I get it, I can guarantee lots of spoon, lots of suspension mods, interior and exterior!

I also ripped my front mudguards leaving my driveway lol, gotta throw them back in sometime and still have to fix the ride height.

I did take a few pictures 2 weeks ago so heres a couple of em!

Heres Jesses hatch too, rocking JDM interior

Got my spark plugs in today along with my Super Street+Honda tuning mags. They never get here this early lol. I'm stoked!

Miguel will be coming down this weekend and were going to seafoam the EH3/DA9, change the plugs and do an oil change. Wish my tune up would be better than this but it will do for now!

They are NGK V-Power ZFR5J-11 which is the best plug for a single cam thats close to stock. A lot of people go and buy iridiums but the truth is that manufacturers spend a lot of time finding out what is the best plug to use so theres no need to upgrade here. Its nice that theyre regular because they only ran $11 anyways and $22 shipped.

Theres a colder spark version available of these that you can run if you have some bigger mods done.

Took a quick vid of my climate also

I'm just here to say, SEAFOAM EATS PISTON RINGS!

My first EF I did 1/4 can thru the brake booster vacuum line and I started burning oil like crazy.

Yes, I changed my oil afterwards even though I didn't run it thru the crankcase or gas tank. But still, my motor got screwed up and I would blow blue smoke. I don't want this to happen to anyone else so I'm spreading the word.

This guy had a whole writeup on it, now he edited his post saying how bad it is.

Np mate, yeah that cluster is sweet as hell. The problem with EG needles is that they dont light up. The JDM ones absorb light so it looks nicer but the green needled cluster was photoshopped. If you zoom into the pic, you can see red around the edges.

Its quite possible the faces are real and I think they could be but you'll never be able to find them even if they are indeed real. The owner won't reply to anyones PMs but its a really nice JDM yellow EG.

I think that its likely that he got them custom made (good luck finding a contact that can do that) or he got one off those HyperRev mags. Ive been told they always have random things like that be listed. Just a thought.

Yeah Ive done my research on it. I think that it needs to be done right. My car barely burns any oil, only as much as any other normal VTEC engine when it is engaged.

I do realize the risks but I'll have to try it to find out. I plan on doing 1/3 on the gas tank only. None in the crankcase. Thanks for pointing that out, I see too many mixed half and half reviews but I could really use it. My motor has about 160k so I think I can get away. *Crosses fingers*

My Si cluster has white needles but they are solid and no light goes through them but the Integra needles do. Try painting them with florescent green paint and use a good brush.

Thats for sure haha. They haven't been doing too well.

Update:

Had the time to seafoam my motor today. I used 1/3 in the gas, 1/3 in the crankcase and 1/3 through the brake booster hose. Then I revved it for a few minutes around 3k and took it for a spin. Smoked like a chimney for a while, people must of been thinking my car was a huge POS haha. I looked back and could barely see the car behind me. Cracked VTEC until it had stopped smoking completely and then I changed my oil+filter+spark plugs. I made sure they were gapped to .044 even though they came pregapped.

Heres what the smoke looked like after a minute of driving. Click the picture for video.

My old spark plugs had a white residue on them but it wasn't caked or anything. After I took it for a drive it felt better. It stopped misfiring completely and doesn't bog anymore (woot woot!) and its quicker because of that. More responsive and it sounds better as well which is a good indication that its running better. Some people say sound is misleading but I know my motor and I can tell that its igniting properly. Anyone here with a VTEC engine knows what I'm talking about That raw power sound.

Just a heads up, if you paint the integra needles they wont light up anymore. The paint will block any light coming through the needle. Unless you use something translucent, which wouldnt cover the red anyway.

Looking forward to seeing the long term results of that seafoam, that **** has always made me wonder haha! Those old plugs looked perfect by the way

Oh makes sense. Yeah I overlooked that for sure. Thanks.

I looked it up but I wasn't sure if white was good. It means it's running good/hot right? Yeah all were pretty even so that must be a good indication of the combustion.

I think seafoam has bad reviews due to either improper use or because the gunk was removed that was holding together seals so therefore leaking after they were removed. It worked good and doesn't smoke at all. My motor runs strong for it's age/mileage so maybe if it was beat it would have those sorts of issues. It made me wonder too so i decided to give it a go. Glad it went well!

My oil was close to the viscosity of water lol. I'm sure there are people who aren't aware that the oil must be changed. It would explain a thing or 2.

Car looks awesome man!

Ha over the past couple of days I've worked my way through your build thread after finding it while browsing honda build threads during a boring Friday night lol. I totally can relate to what you posted about saving and waiting for your hatch as I'm in the same position:/(couple more months till I get my license woot woot!). And I give you mad credit for always doing everything the right way without taking short cuts along the way, you can definitely tell by looking at your car now-Definitely decided on getting a civic hatch after reading this!

I feel as though I'm rambling now so, anyways, the info you give is great and very helpful to someone new to the honda world lol

Thanks for the kind words. Hang tight in there, it will come sooner than you think. I do try to do everything myself if at all possible and I put off a lot of things because of that which is good but also bad in the sense that it doesn't get done quickly. I won't touch something if I know that I don't have the time/supplies/parts or the knowledge to do it. Because then you have to go back to it so I'd rather leave it alone.

Take for example my climate control. I had never seen them on before I fixed it because the bulbs were blown before I even got the car. I spent some good time researching how to do them amber and I went and took the time to do it and was really happy with the results. Now if I had just done what people online said I would of bought new bulbs and spray painted them only to have it fade after a few months, have a dim color and be forced to re do them all over again. It pays off to do something right or all at once.

Hopefully this summer will bring some much needed updates but for now, I'm just daily driving it and enjoying it.

I do try to give a beginner an idea of what it takes to build a car because I see built cars all the time but it always seems like everyone has money or doesn't have money and has a shitty car and I just want to prove that as long as you have a budget that you can work with it and get a nice looking car at the least and not a low quality build. Theres a lot of noticeable improvements that one can do if they invest more time than money into small projects. I also think that prioritizing the cars needs is crucial to steady progress. As much as I would a Spoon spoiler, I'd rather replace my axles instead and have it be more reliable than to look better. Now Im rambling so thats about it lol!

ps. yeah he is bigtime! I can deal with the 1/4 dent but the hood one is harder to look at even if its a lot smaller.
