SHG_Felliphe's EG Hatch Build Thread
If i keep my internship while in school should see some nice changes to the car.
What up man yeah Im glad I don't have to rock that hood anymore.
Motor wise Im leaving that for last. B16A is nice but I wouldn't get that unless I got 1 super cheap. I like my motor, it has pickup. It lacks torque but other than that I'm satisfied with the top end for now.
B18b is nice but it's not worth me swapping a good running motor to gain 20 hp or less and loose VTEC. Plus Id need to do a tuneup on it. Not worth it.
B18c1 would be nice and a B18c/ B18c5 would be just awesome.
I would def like to go K series a well an. I'd rather skip the B series so that I can get the nicest K20 setup.
Realistically the first thing I'm going to do is probably boost my z6. That's a real cost effective setup that puts out really good numbers. Either that or a B18C1 at least. It would be a good learning experience to put together my own turbo setup.
Thi isn't a decision Im looking to do lol.
Money is the name of the game.

i really wanna go turbo on my b16a but it will cost a lot ....you said it
money is the name of the game, but i believe modifiers like us have a better time as when we finally afford that one part it feels great and means more then simply going down to a tuner giving him $7000 for a K swap.
well thats my idiology anyway lol.
Yup! I vacuumed it out, this thing was like a couch, all the dirt and lint was under the cushions lol. So minty I love it. Is it me or is this seat like super tiny? Its like a toy haha.
Haha I guess T missed some spots when she cleaned it

Yeah it is a pretty small seat. Its really narrow but the sides are thin so it still fits really nice.
i just couldn't have a fixed seat.
i'd only be able to have this kind of bukcet if it was for track.
nice seat though just hope you still like it fixed after a couple of weeks of use.

Yeah man, its so comfy dude you don't even know!
Really? We'll see how this goes. I have scoliosis and Im hoping this will force me into a good posture. My Si seats are decent when I'm fresh off the bed but later during the day its sorta uncomfortable.

fiar play man. i'm just over 6" my self so i'm in bad need of some super low rails thing is .........i need the seats to go with it. i'm thinking evo 6 seats or black dc2 seats...
ouch though man thats one good reason to have a fixed bucket ....i can see the conversation at the traffic lights now.
"haha stupid ricer with your fixed bucket, whats that all about ?? "
"i have scoliosis mate....and its not rice its JDM....."

Lmao haha. I'm just debating if I'm going to run a bar and harness. I don't really want to. I'm pretty sure the seat belts can still be tight. I know a lot of people just using stock harnesses.
Yeah, I'm just going to run a stock harness. I'll be fine.
On another note, I picked up another clockspring. This one has the harness for the cruise buttons. I threw that on and now my cruise control works
So happy haha. Works flawless, as soon as you touch the brake or clutch it turns off. Very sensitive
No more creaking noise/vibration when I turn the steering wheel either
I just need a new cruise control switch because the light doesn't work but thats it!
