I would have to say this setup is extremely reliable compared to my Turbo D. I'm starting to realize that I think my z6 block was just a dud from the factory, which lead me to numerous problems with oil lubrication.
This setup by far is not as fast as the D, but man do I love hearing that motor effortlessly rev to 8800rpm
Maybe down the road I will swap out those pistons and go for a Turbo!Gotta love BG33P!!! Soooo sexy.
Here are some photos from a car show over the weekend at our local festival our town has.

Well I've been quite lazy, yet busy with not updating this, but Honda Meet 14 was an absolute success! It felt so good to get out after missing out a year of tracking (Besides back in October with the Turbo D). I managed to get a 1:53.37 with no passenger and slicks on Sunday's event which was astonishing to me with how little seat time I had with this setup, and having an intermediate skill level.

Not really any updates in the past couple of months. Went back downstate for school to go forth with pursuing my degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Here are some pictures to get through. Lol

I really want to wetsand and buff her out this summer. I've been neglecting it since it was painted like 3 years ago LOL.Well finally after years and years of blowing it off, I finally got a rollbar. My buddy Brian had a group deal going directly with Autopower, so I opted to purchase a Autopower Race rollbar. Couldn't be more happier with it :D

Thank you dude
Yup they are the Wilwood DPHA calipers, direct bolt on and apparently they even fit under the 15" EM1 SI wheels which is nice. But, I absolutely LOVE them! The pads that come with the kit are extremely soft, and not recommended to use on the track. If you get the shape number for the pads the caliper uses, several brake companies make pads for several uses. I highly recommend these

Went home for the weekend to bring some stuff home from college. In the mean time, I took the roll bar out, and color matched it with the color of my wheels.

And decided to give her a long needed bath! The rear bumper is off due to fixing some open holes where water would get into the trunk. When my dad put in a new quarter panel, it wasn't 100% aligned (maybe 98.45%). That huge rectangular-shaped opening is where a vent goes, but I have no idea where it went haha.

Only one more week of actual classes, then a week of finals and I'll be home for the summer! Ahh, I can't wait.

Kenny
you too fine!!
Haha it's all good man! I was at school for most of the time, so there really wasn't a whole bunch of updates! Might as well add some while I'm here though!
Around last weekend of May was the 2nd annual #GRIDLIFE motorsports festival, and it was a blast for the most part (it rained 3 out of the 4 days which put a damper on my attitude and fatigue lol). Didn't really go out on the track as much as I thought I would, but it was fun learning how to drive in the rain, it's a completely different track when its wet. Learning different apex routes, braking zones.. it was tough!

Other than that, it's been a pretty mellow summer in terms of my car. Haven't done much to it besides wetsanding and polishing the body, and adjusting my map for adding a little bit more fuel when driving on the streets (would see AFR's in upwards of 15.8-15.9 with 20% throttle load). I'm just enjoying the car as much as I can, but it's hard to do that because the exhaust is WAY too loud and uncomfortable to daily. So in the near future I'll be adding another muffler or resonator to tone down the droning.
