Well i decided since i never made a build thread for my last sedan, that i would try to make one for this one. So long story short for the last car, I had it for 6 years and put almost 80K miles on it. It was actually my first car and yes it was automatic. Made a great daily tho. Put a good bit of money into the car over the years, mainly into the different sets of wheels. Unfortunately i had a little accident with side swiping a guardrail late one night on the way home. It still drove for a couple weeks, but 2 weeks after the engine finally blew with 210K on it. I dont have any pics of how it looked when i bought it. But here's after the suspension, CF hood, special ordered 17" 5-Zigen FN01Rc's, and etc.

Then came the accident.

Then came the search for a new sedan. After about 4 months of searching, i finally found one. Here's what she looked like before i picked her up.

Car was EXTREMELY rough!! I couldn't even believe i bought it. But for $1200 and 130K miles i figured i could make something out of it.
So after just a little bit of trouble, i finally got it home right next to the old one.

Now i had a lot of work ahead of me. First came the ugly pink taillights

Then i finally got around to throwing the Volks back on the car.

Then a buddy traded me his 1-pieces for my stockers so he could sell his car, so i decided to swap the front end off the old sedan over to the new one. Pardon the camera phone pics, but that's really all i have for now.

Thanks man.
I just went outside and snapped some pics with my digital camera to get something better than those camera phone pics. I should have them up sometime tonight.

Well as of right now, i've still got the Neuspeed/Koni setup on the old sedan. i haven't pulled it off yet to throw on the new one. I'm thinking i may start saving for a new setup tho. I've been looking into the D2's, but i'm not sure what's best to go with.

I have Omni Full coils on my DA, the street version, with blox LCAs. I love them, they ride very nice and handle well. Full coilovers are definatly the way to go.
Ive always had a thing for 4doors, but Im stuck with my 2door. Its cool though. Keep this updated man.
Is there paint in this DB's future?!?

Thanks for all of the comments guys. Yes the car will be seeing paint within the near future hopefully. I've been looking into a few different paint choices. I'm thinking the most likely will be a nice black cherry color. And as for the suspension, i will be swapping over the setup from the old sedan onto this new one prett soon. Its not too low, but its comfortable. But it looks like i'll be looking into a full coilover setup for the future.
Here's just a couple pics i took this afternoon. But keep in mind, its still riding on the stock suspension.

And just for fun, a little pixel car

Just for an update:
The car is running like complete ****! I've spent the past week working on it trying to make it run better, but it almost seems useless. Just about anything that could possibly go wrong, HAS! Right now i'm dealing with the surging idle from 1K-2K rpm and have already cleaned and replaced the IACV so thats not it.

Thanks man but it's gonna be a while to get it to the condition the old one was in. This thing has WAY too many mechanical problems right now. And i was planning on swapping the suspension over sometime this week too.

Alright well i finally got around to fixing the insane idle problem. Ended up being the fast idle control valve just like everyone had said. You could actually hear the pieces ratteling inside of it when i took it off!! So now i've got the idle under control, now just to fix the leaking PS hard line.

Trust me that would've happened if it wasn't a high pressure hose!
