Icon6 My 99 SSBP Teg Log

Well, here I am making a running log, diary, story or whatever you want to call it haha. I started out owning by owning a 1996 Cypress Green Pearl LS Integra that I picked up. For 1800 bucks with 160k on the body. No pics of when purchased. So I drove it around with steelies and ebay coilovers for a while. The ride quality was bouncy *** hell. But what can you expect for ebay coils and stock struts haha. I got bored of riding around on steelies and looking stock. My cousin at the time had a set of 15 inch gt3's lying around his shop. Which he wasn't using. So I borrowed them and threw them on.

I rode around like that all over town feeling like the bee knees. Because I finally had something to be proud of. Keep in mind I'm a noob haha. I drove like that for several months. Then winter came and disaster hit hard. As I was driving on the freeway one morning it started hailing out of nowhere. And me going 70 with not so good tires. Yup you guessed it accident. Lost control hit the barrier and totaled the poor teggy. Pics of the aftermath.

Drove it home like that on the freeway. With a bent rim,****ed up suspension and front end. I guess the teggy wasnt going out like that. She limped her way home . Called up the insurance and got a fat *** check the following week so i decided to keep my baby. And fix her right with lots of money and patience she was fixed and running better then ever.

I felt like a million bucks driving my teggy once more knowing that she had been through an accident like that. Soon after I took off the gt3's and thew on my steelies. Drove it around for several months I even took her on roadtrip so she could see Las Vegas. She made it there and back with no problems.

I then Put a couple thousand miles on her before I decided it was time . To move up to something big and better. But Don't get me wrong I had a blast with my CGP Teg. So many memories created and shared. Pic of it before it was sold

Now I own a 99' Super Sonic Blue Pearl GSR Integra. As of today it has 134xxx on the clock. I currently daily drive it, hope to change that. I take very well care of it having it vacuumed and washed every couple days. As of now it's in winter mode. Riding on Civic steelies which I love don't judge me lol. But hope to pick up a set of Volks like my hero J.Wolfe lol or a set of SSR's. Don't know yet but will have them by summer of next year. I have big plans for my car just need to pay off some debt. And the parts will start flowing. As of future mods I don't wanna say much about them but let's just say. I like Simple and clean nothing to flashy just enough to say Daaaaamn! haha But Enough talk on to what's done to the car.

Things done to it are as follows:
-Head Resurfaced at 129,999 (Head took a **** on me)
-Lowered on Function and Form Type 1's
-Integra type R front lip (Replica)
-Wiper delete ( Big deal right lol)
-Greddy Headers
-Whale ***** CAI

That's pretty much it, Might pick up little things here and there. But won't have anything big till spring or summer.

Onto the pics (Please keep in mind I am no photographer and I'm a complete noob)

Had it on 15" inch spuns and D2's at the time.

Decided to explore other suspension and wheels on LS meshies and on mugen coilovers. At this point it was wingless which didn't look to bad IMO

Then I picked up some purple enkei 92's.

Which didn't last more then 2 days before I got sick of them and sold them. I then slapped on my steelies.

I got sick of the black on it so I went out on the search for some hubcaps to slap on until spring. And I came across some civic hubcaps which I soon fell in love with.

Soon after I decided it was time to slap on F&F type one's and the stock wing. Which wasn't looking bad at all. Kinda like it a little better haha. So that's pretty much my intro for you I know it's really long. But Hope you like it thanks. Will have an update tomorrow for sure.

It's not painted because I'm going to get another lip.

Little update for today, being a Sunday here in Utah there aint **** to do. So I decided to wash and clean the hell out of the interior of my teggy. I started out by removing the seats.

then came the removal of the armrest.

Then out with the center console

I started losing some screws and forgetting where they went so I got me some little bags and started labeling the screws. (Ghetto Labeling haha)

And pretty much this is what i was left with after everything was removed. My dirty *** car with a ton of **** under the seats and what na. haha

After that I pulled out the handy dandy vacuum and garbage bag and went to work on vacuuming. And tossing out **** I didn''t need. after a couple minutes I was left with this.

Some of the plastics were a little dirty and had some weird **** on them. So I hosed them down turned out nice and clean.

After all the cleaning and stuff it was time to put back the seats, center console and armrest.

So All in all took me about 2 hours to clean the inside up. Would of taken the carpet out but I was feeling a little lazy but that's it for this little update. Will have pics of the whole car and how it sits tomorrow or Tuesday.

You should try and save for a real itr lip and get the lip and sides matched to ssbp it would look 100x better. But just a suggestion

Small update: Yesterday night I picked up an OEM ITR lip for a crackhead price.

The paint is peeling on it but it's all good going to resprayed SSBP same goes with the front bumper but not until spring.

So anyways me being the impatient person I am I thought I'd mock it up. To see how it looked and what's the difference between OEM and replica fitment.

How it looks with the replica lip

I started off by I removing the replica lip which fits pretty good just didn't like the abs plastic. Leaving me with a naked integra. haha

Out with that Piece O' ****

In with the OEM goodness

So I threw on the OEM lip and GOOD GOD! It sits amazing and looks 100 times better then the replica.

All in all I gotta say it gives it a whole new different look lol still have to go buy some extra screws to have it bolted down. Don't want it flying off on the freeway in the spring.

So that's pretty much it for now.
