My 91 CRX build thread.
Figured it was about time to make a thread. Been putting it off for a while now.
So I got this car a couple years ago when my friend/boss decided that he did not want it anymore and was able to trade him my VW rabbit pickup for it. Picked it up and drove it a couple times and then it just kinda sat in the garage. I would buy a couple things for it,but never really messed with it too much. So here it is. There's a few things that have been done to it that I don't have pics for at the moment.
When I got it it had white slips on it. He wanted to keep those and I kept the wheels I had on the rabbit. I had just taken the RPF1's off my other car and decided to use them on this one. Didn't want black so I had them coated Cusco blue.

And on the car.

Ordered some parts.

Then the bug bit me again about a year later and got more stuff.

Car has a B18A1 and decided to change the VC and install the oil cap and strut bar.

Drove it for a bit and the thermostat got stuck so got some more parts.

Unfortunately did not take any pics of installing the k-tuned housing. After Christmas I made another Honda order.

And got some hardware to replace all the 10mm stuff.

Picked up a carbon fuel sender cover and the remaining cusco exhaust hangers I needed.

And picked up a new axle back.

And the last pic I have is of my NOS oem front cover. Bought this thing a long time ago when they were closing them out. It has just been sitting in our storage and will be getting paint sometime soon.

Well that is all for now. I will be updating regularly. should be installing the exhaust this weekend and possibly some other things.

Thanks man. For the most part yes. I have just about every crx part they offer. Missing the cam gears at the moment. had a set a few years back and sold them for some dumb reason lol.

A couple small updates. Got these mats in today. I guess they used to offer them without the crx embroidery, but now all have it. Not a huge fan of the white that was on them. So did a little redye job on the lettering.

And black.

Terrible pic. But in the car. Will get better pics later.

And trimmed the cusco ****. Definitely feels better now.

Lol thanks man. In reality I should have sold the rabbit for a huge profit and then bought the crx. It was a clean, rust free, low mileage and all original. He sold it to a guy here at work and then that guy sold it a little later for $7500. Oh well. I go what I wanted for it and have no regrets.

thank you.
Yeah I'm absolutely happy with the trade. This one will be with me for a long time. I've owned 5 and always regretted selling them each time.
Thanks man. Yeah I'm very happy with the exhaust. And not sure if they have any DA ones or not.
Meh i think you came out better either way. A clean white crx now a days is insanely rare and becoming increasingly rare as the days go by. Crx's value just keeps skyrocketing and white ones fetch the most. I love CRXs, especially white ones, hold on to this one bro.

I personally think the shifters are a what ever you prefer type of thing. I've had basic short throws, with and without extenders and the fastline one and I really am a fan of the k tuned. I like it because it is very adjustable. So you can put it to however you are comfortable one.
Small update. Got shorted a plate frame from my last cusco order. Emailed and they had it sent out the same day. And added another sticker and lanyard for the hassle. Been very happy with their customer service.

And a small Honda order. New boots and clamps for the tie rods and new screws for the steering column covers and the new "push" sticker for the ignition.
