Default PROJECT KUMARA (jdm ef3 zc turbo street racer)

hi all at H-T, my name is alex, im 17, and i drive a 1989 ef3 i brought it for $50 NZD with a run bearing thats about $39.60 USD, here are some pics:

i have just rebuilt the engine with new mains

it also hav a facelift convertion on it

(will try and get better pics tomoro)

it is sitting on semi racing springs and shocks, with a cusco brace upfront with a custom shifter and a custom 2 1/4' exhaust

i also hav a spoiler with a brake light in it that i hav just put on

it also has a wrx bucket seat out of a suburu that i made, i used the bucket seat foam but put it ontope of the origonal si seat frame

and today i made a cold air box for it (will gets pics tomoro)

i am open to comment on the car just not harsh ones about a guy driving a pink car

cheers

i dig it man! can't beat the price!! rims alone are worth it. that color pink doesn't look so bad either...and you can always paint it. no doubt you'll love the car the more you drive it. welcome aboard

bad news, handbrake gave way on the steep driveway and the car roled into the house, facelife si lip riped in two, CAI riped off, both facelift indicators smashed, facelift bumper and bonnet filler dented, the car hit the main suport post for the deck that was already cracked, so i was luky that the deak didnt colaps onto the car, gona cost me aroud $400nzd ($315.59usd) to replace the whole facelift front, most of it will be new from japan, but for sum good news, new sunrof and windscreen as they were cracked, and getting mugen engine mounts for aroud $200nzd ($157.79usd) new, cheaper that buying then new from honda, and new cv's

Sorry to hear about the accident. Hope all that repair won't set you back to much. May be it's a good timing to paint the whole car as well. Welcome to H-T

i wud hav painted the engine but i needed a car at the time, im expecting a letter in the mail stating that i hav lost my licence for 3 months due to no demerit points left, so i will be striping the car to nuthing and painting it white and black trim, and for the engine, it has to come out for new cv's and mounts, or i might drop in a d15b sohc vtec turbo that i am building

finaly some progres, got me a hf manifold for free (yay) gaskets and all, a tdo4 off a subaru free (super yay), made my own adapter plate, just put oil return into sump, front end hasnt changed fronm the litle crash, but lookin at $500 nzd ($394.90 USD) to replace filler panel, facelift si lip, facelift parkers, facelift indicators, and front gaurds, holes in bonnet removed, bonnet pins gone, semi new front tyres, waiting on new engine mounts, intercooler is being paid for as well as 2.5 inch exhaust, and intercooler piping, same as injectors, so total cost of build so far is nada, zip zero, nuthing, untill i ay for engine mounts lol

pic will be up in the next few days

also lookin for opinions on colour to paint whole car

Default FV-QR

Cool stuff, it more then likely won't get moved. Forced induction forums are pretty much a tech forum. Unless your thread is primarily about having problems or needing specific information about your turbo then it will stay in the A/C forum.

Thank's for the PM! Goodluck.
