ef4dr's build thread... quest for 10's and looking good while doin it

well ive had this car for a while now and it has been through a ton of different setups, started off all stock and automatic. if didnt take that long to fix that problem and add a second cam and some vtec. in wanting more power than that, the stock b16 got some boost and ended up spinning a rod bearing, making way for the built ls shortblock to go in...

and now onto the fun of last night...



the new setup:
jdm b20b golden eagle sleeved
pauter rods
cp pistons
supertech valvetrain
itr cams
t3/67 H.O.
and i still need to pick up a victorx intake manifold, and as soon as i can pawn off my neukin ram horn i am hitting up boostwerks for one of his ballin ef topmounts

i made 372whp on the ls/vtec build with around 12psi...
i think i am gonna look for as close to 600 as i can get with the new motor and the car weighed 2470 with me in it the last time at the track

a couple late nights in the garage and a few beers later....

and i picked up the new intercooler last saturday... 24 x 10 x 3 full-race backdoor

just mocked up for now
i decided on goin for the moon cut option this time around... when i get the valve cover back from my friend welding on some 10 AN bungs, i think the color is gonna be white on this one

bob... the aem gears are notorious for slipping bc they only have 3 bolts.... ive just been lucky so far and havent had any problems

played around with cleaning up the tranny today and got the victorx put on...




and i was taking out my rear mount because i am replacing the bushings to discover this...

off to the junk yard for another rear crossmember tomorrow

i got the motor and tranny all together today 

and i am in the middle of replacing the rear crossmember that was cracked
