So today i got done what i wanted except i ran into a ****ing problem.

anyways i got my battery relocation pretty much done today. wire are ran, i just ran out of wires, and i need one grommet to finish it. but no big deal i'll do it tomorrow.

i painted my timing belt cover because it was all torn to **** and i decded to put the entire thing on.

im the mist of doing this, i accidentally dropped a little bit of gasket into the engine i tried to grab it with a creeper and ended up pushing into a oil galley, so we tried to suck it up with the shop vac and a small hose.

DIDNT WORK! FML! so i used the air compressor and an air hose to try and force it into the oil pan. which i am going to check tomorrow so i hope its there, if its not im gonna have to pull the head and find it, darn, then i will have to replace the head gasket.darn.lol even though the ls only has 35k on it. but not much i can do.

i cant find this cover either, but i will!

and i got most of the interior back together.

Be careful doing this to hardware with the yellow chromate coating, which reists corrosion. By using the wire wheel you're removing that coating and now the nuts and bolts are more likely to rust.

i figured as much, and was going to look around and see if theres a place i can have it zinc coated but havent gotten around to it, if it rusts i'll wheel it again, and eventually just get new bolts from honda. But this is also my car that only comes out in nice weather, i have a 95 accord daily. which is also being repainted right now.lol

good lookin out

I just used high temp automotive aluminum rattlecan paint. worked ok, may try something different next time, but does still look good.

Got a little bit of work done today, i dropped a little bit of rtv gasket in my motor yesterday so i pulled the oil pan offand couldnt find it and then i took the windage tray off and i found it on there in two different pieces, but thank god, i didnt feel like pulling the head off and fishing for it.

and got my motor retimed and all the covers put on

and i also had some rust in the passenger side rear hatch area so i por 15'ed it to stop more rusting.

that was all i got done today, but i got my parts in from honda so i will hopefully drop my motor in tomorrow.

So got a lot done today, but am running into some trouble.

anyways i got my bolts in from honda only to find out they were the wrong ones, awesome, this always happens. but anyways two of them were right and i had an old one i said **** it and used it. no one can see it where its at anyways.

but this is where my morning started.

finally going to put the motor in!!!

and its in, thank god, been waiting for this for too long.

I ran into a lot of trouble putting the axles in though, if anyone has any advice LMK!
I took off the entire a arm to do it, tell me if that was the stupid way bc i feel like there has to be an easier way, i just couldnt find it.

i got the axle in the tranny and in the wheel hub but i can get it to go far enough into the tranny to line up the cv axle to the block to screw it down.

Heres a couple pictures i took after just setting the front bumper up to the car.

So i got that axle thing figured out, and i also got my other one on and my suspension set up done. kind of, im gonna cut my springs a little more, there just temporary for a couple weeks untill i get my functions.

So the previous owner of the car broke some bolts in the hub that hold the rotors down so didnt have fun fixing that one.

heres just some pictures i took.

started doing my wiring harness and its kind of a pain but its not so bad. i cant figure out where a couple of the plugs go.

^^I cannot figure out what these go to???

^^^I also dont know what this goes to, i think its the oil pressure wire but the connector isnt on there, its yellow with a red stripe. anyone know?

and here is how i left my car tonight, im gonna try and start it tomorrow.

Wow, i havent updated this thing in a while, been really busy, just been driving the car and working some stuff out on it. it runs great minus the cooling system, im going to order all new cooling system parts here a soon as i can. also there this stupid like shaking when i accelerate, i thought i just needed a balance and alignment, but those didnt take it away completely, i think its the axles, so im going to replace those and the wheel bearings pending on what my boy from honda tells me once we get sometime when the shop there isnt busy.

Ok So I tried updating this not too long ago but after i spent like an hour putting everything i accidentally exited out of the window. oops.. finally have a little time to do nothing so why not right.

Done a lot of work to the car lately. i want to redo this whole thread but thats for another night.lol

since my last post i have done quiet a few things to the teg,

I have recently purchased some Skunk2 pro2 coilovers and a set of 2 inch drop forks. they discontinued making these like 11 years ago. it took me some time to track them down but there great. give you a 2 inch drop without messing with the susension geometry. I still have on order some extended balljoints and new outer tie rods and im going to reverse the new tie rods to help bumpsteer.

heres to the car i bought that all this was on.

He t boned someone really bad i ended up taking the suspension and parting this out.

During

heres the after pic

broke another stock jack during this.

I hammered the pinch welds flat for more clearance. I plan on have my buddy cutting the entire bottom inner fender support out and welding a decent thickness sized piece of sheetmetal in.

Heres random slammed pics. wanna go lower but gotta shave some stuff first.

thats a mini bic lighter

thats actually taken with a good camera.

i never rock a hood. it doesnt latch half the time and im too lazy to fix it cause i have different plans with my tax return

f***in around. rocked it for like a week. i loved all the looks. it adds like 1000hp.lol

I also started shaving the rear hatch area to prep it for airbrush.

hard to see. but havent had a lot of time for it been working on my other car.

bought a new hood

rearranged some things. its different now. double din block off. no lighter and ash tray anymore.

made a new shift boot

heres some pics of a car ive been working on. ive been wire tucking it and helping put it back together. its an ek hatch fully built minime turboed on 28lbs. its fast a FAWK!

me n his car with no front ends

and a little video of my buddys celica
