transferring my build thread from nwp

well i had enough of it, so its time to redo some of the car. everyone knows what my car looks like. i started tearing it down on friday (9/4), and this is what it looks like so far....






F*ck the b series.... drove to Ft. Worth this morning and picked up a complete k20a2 long block


9/7 Update.
Dash, carpet, heater box, all wiring is really to pull out of the car.

ive been working on it off and on since the weather has been crappy. all the sound deadener is up, drilled out all the spot welds for the brackets i didnt need anymore, and welded and filled the holes i had to. just gotta finish you on sanding the filler now. got to clean all the glue up still. windshield and qp glasses should be coming out tomorrow, depending if its still rainy

tore the doors apart, im not gonna **** with taking the glass out anymore, just gonna pay someone lol. got all the window seals and door seals out today. picked up some goodies for the motor tonight also!




thanks Kong for the K-Tuned ps/ac delete kit, RBC manifold, throttle body spacer and hondata gasket! :thumbup

started my brake line tuck, cant find my ****ing type r prop valve though! FML

finished up the brake lines under the hood. gotta find my ctr prop valve now ugh!

ive been lasy the past few weeks, fiance had to be rushed to the ER and a lot of crazy stuff. not much work has been done on the car. the brake lines are completely done. this is the newest pic i have of them.

big ups to Mike at K-Tuned.com for the hook up on my EKK2 mounts!

got all my front suspension powder coated, thanks to the homies James and Banks "Game Over" at B&T powder coating. Waiting on my new buddy club ball joints and new front bushings to get here and pressed in. A few pics for ***** and gigs

all my new bushings for my front lcas, and sway bar. Waiting on the balljoints still, got my oem wheel bearings today also. Here are the lcas back together, gotta love fresh powder!

well my new brake setup is here.
11in rotors redrilled to 4x100
spoon calipers
endless pads

and my buddy club extended balljoints arrived and my last 8 arp extended studs

well last weekend me and Adam pressed the balljoints in, and finished the spindles up.


Got my brand new OEM CTR grill in, wanting on my new OEM hood to come in at Honda.


Got my Eastwood double flare tool and tubing bender in also, brake line tucks made easy! Eastwood ftw!

well i got a little update, my new wing came in finally.

i should have some more stuff showing up next week and some more fittings this week.

my new master cylinder came in.

ordered my custom radiator last night, it's being built and will ship next week. Ordered my Koni SP3 with ground control coilovers (450f 650r)

still need to order my booster delete plate

so i cleaned up the motor and tranny today. also started shaving my intake manifold.




i think im only gonna paint the tranny, the long block cleaned up great, im really happy with it. Simple Green FTMFW

radiator showed up w00t, this baby is beautiful!


my custom rated ground controls did also. koni sp3 struts should be here this week also

got further on my intake manifold, still along way to go but its getting there.

my hybrid racing shifter showed up, this thing is badass, worth every penny of $380

I hate leaks... So I turned to earls! just about every fitting to do a brake and fuel line tuck.

went to the body shop after work, pdr guy is finished with it, started sanding the bay, I'll have pics when more progress is made!

well i have some updates from a few days, more body work done. antenna, emblems, rear wiper all welded in and shaved. hopefully it'll be running into the booth next week.

thats all i got for now, im in need of a header for the swap still and a few little things, its getting close to start reassembly... :bang:
