Default Bringing the EG back To life

Well i Picked up this Eg shell from a guy locally it was completely gutted, talk about a shell this was lol the harness was cut up the interior was missing but the chassis itself was straight no dents nothin, so the things i'm doing to it are

-Finish the GSR by putting it back together
-brake line tuck
-wire tuck
-paint entire car
-wheels
-suspension

now putting it back together i picked up a full harness motor,dash harness, body parts from a friends wrecked EX, so i converted the doors to power here are the pics

new harness and steering column in


dash is in along with the cluster etc.


carpet and seats in


new front end


along with the CF hood

now the fun part, brake line tuck, i made me a mounting plate for the part that all the lines run into and welded studs so i can bolt it down to the plate,

i started sanding the car already and hopefully weather permitting i can paint it this weekend

should have done the break tuck while the das was out.. ? and i dont recomend migging under the dash, 1 stray spark could smolder and take the whole car in flames. I speak from the unforetunate expirience, but otherwise good luck, nice to see another Ej1 saved.

the biggest plan is to have it done this month for IFO in Dec. which means having my GSR done in the next week just waiting on the mashine shop it's a built B17 with CTR internals on spray.

i know it's happened to me but i had a small fireblanket where i was welding and had three fire extuinguishers handy just in case lol.. but thanks though
