Back in the Game 94 DB8
Picked her up about 4 months ago from a 70 year old woman who was the original owner, car has only 78k miles! Went from bone stock with 14" steelies and hubcaps

to this:
After 98-01 conversion on front and rear, refurbed GSR wheels, removed side moldings and a full respray:

After FF Coilovers (don't like the slammed look)

More than likely that is an RS, so not really a DB8. DB8's came with a sunroof, and paint matched side moldings, and no steelies.

I think everybody on this post needs some refresher Honda School (well maybe not everybody)
1.) DB8, DB7, DC4, DC2 These all refer to chassis codes, not models. DB = Sedan DC = Coupe
2.) RS, LS, GSR, Type R all refer to trim level for your particular Integra
3.) DB7 = 94-97 Integra Sedan || DB8 = 98-01 Integra Sedan
That being said, my particular DB Teg is an LS, it could have been ordered without the sunroof. The reason I know it is not and RS is because it has power windows. RS model Integras were the lowest trim model available in 1994 and 1995, I do not believe they were offered after 1995. Also I have never personally seen in my life a 4 door RS, I have only come across them in two doors or DC models based on my little lesson above.
My first Integra was purchased brand new in 1996, it was a Cypress Green pearl GSR DC2. I miss that car to this day. This is my 5th Integra in 15 years (I have owned 35 other cars in this same time period, so I am not new to the car game by any means). I plan on keeping it this time. The transformation will be slow.... Thanks everybody for the comments!

The chassis code(db8, db7, dc4, dc2 etc.) in Integras anyway is directing linked to the chassis yes, the DB or DC portion,but also is related to the model/trim. Now the number following this explains the model/trim. dc2= gsr/type r. dc4=LS/RS. DB8=GSR/ Type R (japan only).
The initial argument is this is a DB7, and not a DB8. and a Stripped Down basic LS at that. Good luck with the build, i wasn't initial hating just trying to set facts straight.
