Default ATL-EF squad build thread

Whats up everyone, im new to this site I had posted a build thread before here, but for some reason it got deleted. So i decided to make a new one.

I got a 91 civic DX model with D16a6 Si swap. I got it from a friend that wrecked it, not bad... bumper and fender replacment. The car had also a blown head gasket and camshaft seal. Replaced all the gaskets and seals and the run likes a champ now. As far a mod's on the car, from what I know of... GSR intake (stock),h22 injectors, header, short shifter, full custom exhaust with no cats welded to a apexi N1 tip. Suspension, tokiko illumins or however u spell that, with some cheap ebay coilovers. Im replacing those with some Skunk2 springs (on the way). Recently polished my fat5's , but they need some good buffing with some mother polish.

Well this is it for right now... Ill be keeping u guys updated with more pic's and updates on the hatch

Whats she looked like when I got her.

taking off all damaged parts and gutting the car

New crx Si seats

changing the all the gaskets and seals

Had to replace the roof on the car, it was in really bad shape

New roof

New bumper and fender with Si lip

Here r the polished fat5's

All the body work is done and ready for paint

Here is the new paint job

The previous owner didnt care of the car at all. The door panels had holes and were in bad cond. so I replaced them with some new fabric

The rear after gutting the car was nasty that I had to something with it. Sice I had some more paint left I decided to repaint it, but then I didnt have enough paint ... So i have to buy some more and go over it few more times. Ohh yeah all the fuel lines will be painted flat flat again, forgot to cover them up lol.
Before

After

The rest of the pic's I just rendom pix i took cuz I was bored

Well thx guys for looking again... leave some cmnts

What kind of paint did you use? You should be able to make that paint perfect with a little cut/buff. Looks a heck of a lot better than mine did prior to cut/buff.

OEM Honda paint. I will buff the whole car after I finish painting the roof and the bumpers.

that is a hella job to take up in your own garage.

I'm currently building mine in my garage as well.

I'll need to sub out bodywork due to not having a welder. I've got to replace the rear quarter due to rust.

I saw the car on import atlanta and picked it up due to the hella deal I got on it.

I got it from one of my friends, he had a ef shell. You take the long rubbers out that go across the roof sides. Then u gonna see welding spots after u take those rubbers. Then u drill those out with a drill and the roof skin will come off. But make sure u take ur headliner out before u drill, so u dont drill thru that.

my roof had major dents in it, so it was to much for to try to cover it with bondo... so i just replaced the whole thing for like 30bux , and it was a 2 day job.
